The fresh feeling that I get of waking up and being a cool college kid heading off to grab a bite before I schlep to class is complimented by the delightfully gentle warm breeze that sweeps through the walkway of the Amacrost Library greeting me to the new day. Though this pleasant feeling is swiftly demolished once I get my assignment in class to read a crap load of pages in my book, which every chapter seems to be repetitive which is such a motivation killer.
When class ends my routine goes like this. After class: Grab lunch with my girls. Go to the gym for 30-45 mins. Go back to my dorm, shower and change and head off to the library. Being in the library to me is what makes me feel like a real college kid. The Armacost library is a gorgeous building, sitting right next to a pond whose inhabitants range from fish to storks that are often fishing in the shallows for their meals. However wonderful the library is, they keep it colder than a meat locker. As I recall I was sitting in one of the back study rooms and after concentrating for about an hour I looked down at my right foot…it was purple… I then pulled out my left foot from under my leg, which was nice and warm… I then realized that from now on to study in the library a blanket and jacket would probably be mandatory.
