So many interesting things happen once upperclassman arrive back onto campus, a kind of pecking order is re instated, and for those who can’t seem to let go of high school, make snickering comments about freshman as if we were lesser beings. Its actually very pathetic, and also funny seeing how I am probably if not the same age, older than most upper classman. . I know its been a while since I blogged last you will have to forgive me, its been rather stressful as of late and its been nice to just sit back and relax. But something happened, or actually a chain of events has come to pass that really stirred me up. It all started last night when I was out at South Beach 
with some friends doing all kinds of fun things college freshman love to do on a weekend. After chilling by the shore for a bit I was talking to my friend Jodi, who informed me that my friend Lex had been arrested… for shoplifting. Never once has the idea or motive of shoplifting ever crossed my mind. The concept to me seems ridiculous. As if that were not disturbing enough I haven’t heard from her in 2 days. But wait it gets even better. So the next morning during breakfast my friend Jodi tells me that after we departed from south beach she proceeded to hang with this guy Connor, who was with us that evening. I found him rather cute, and I knew he was gay so I sort of had a tiny fix of attraction towards him. That was until Jodi tells me that she tried whippets, and that Connor does them. Whippets for those of you who don’t know what they are basically laughing gas, out of like whipping cream canisters. This to me looks like a serious drug problem, and it really grossed me out. So now I am no longer attracted to him, because of his recreational drug usage it seems just pathetic. So I feel like I need to re assess my friends, who I am hanging out with and what they are doing. On a lighter note tomorrow is the second EC pride meeting which I am so excited for! But im going to go now its time to go bowling and im super excited!
