So I can now long board. I’m so excited and I am looking around to purchase my own! I learned how to one late evening and ive been using my friend’s board ever since. Of course I will give it back to her but not until I get my own. This is exciting for me because I never pictured myself being the skater type at all. But I guess in college you grow and change drastically. I love my psychology class, and I’m satisfied with my other courses as well. I’ve been trying to decorate the walls in my room with posters but the tape doesn’t seem to stick for very long, and now I’m in the process of finding another way to stick my posters up. My roommate is an essentialist, and he’s very non-materialistic, which to some degree I’m the opposite of. I’m excited because on the 27th I’m going to go see Blink-182 and some other bands in concert with my friends. I’ve been working out for a while now and I’ve noticed the pleasant change in muscle mass on my body, and I’m growing more confident in myself. I’ve become addicted to the gym; I cannot go three days without it because it makes me feel great! So far I love college, and it’s been a very eye opening experience for me. I’ve met people from all different walks of life. I went to a goodwill store for the first time in my life with my friend and found it very interesting, there was a lot of cute vintage stuff from lamps to coats. Though I clearly was appreciating the trips to Neman Marcus with my mom. For me this has shown me that in order to maintain the lifestyle that I am used to, I have to be able to perform and have a job that will sustain it. All of these new experiences are great for me, and I cannot wait for the next one to come.
