Is YOUR college … haunted?

Notable “haunted” universities and colleges:
tampa, plant hall
The University of Tampa, Plant Hall. Plant Hall has a long history, it began as the Tampa Bay Hotel in 1891. Teddy Roosevelt, Babe Ruth, Sarah Bernhart, and the Queen of England are among many historical figures to have stayed there. Plant Hall has many reports of ghostly activity, from cold spots (rather interesting in such an old building in a semi tropical climate), apparitions, and mailroom activity. Check it out!

mt holyoke hauntingsMount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. A former headmistress has been seen walking with a young girl. The founder of Mt Holyoke, Mary Lyon, is buried on the campus though there are rumors that students from Wheaton College (also founded by Mary Lyon) removed her body from Mt Holyoke and took it to Wheaton. There have been reports of an organ playing by itself, temperature changes, and sheets being ripped off while students are sleeping. check it out!

In Texas:
Rice University has experienced mysterious “throwing of furniture” in a basement storage room.

Texas A & M Galveston: the Flying Dutchman has been seen in Galveston Bay! (do you suppose Orlando Bloom is the captain now???)

Sam Houston State University in Huntsville has a phantom librarian….

Have fun checking out the haunted places in Texas HERE.
