College for Learning Different Students: College of Charleston

The College of Charleston has announced that it will start a comprehensive program for learning different students in the Fall of 2010. The program will be known as REACH, Realizing Educational and Career Hopes. It takes the place of the LIFE program (Learning is for Everyone).

College of Charleston is placing a special emphasis on social life in college for REACH students, giving them opportunities to be a part of campus life. They will pair REACH students with COUGAR SCHOLARS, they also have a program known as BEST BUDDIES, and will pair up SOCIAL AND ACADEMIC PEER MENTORS.

The College of Charleston is a public university of about 9,000 undergraduates in the historic city of Charleston. The university offers tremendous opportunity, and is well worth looking at for Learning Different Students! Check it out at www.cofc.edu!
