Interested in sports and wellness? Sports medicine? Exercise specialists? Sports trainers? Did you know that membership at USA Triathlon has increased over 500% in the last 15 years? That has added over 80,000 new multisport athletes. The need for qualified experts in this field is growing. If you want to be an Endurance Trainer/Coach to elite athletes to get them, or keep them, in top form, read on.

You need to be able to work with people, coach them, inspire them, and know all about the body and how it works. A certified trainer can bring home $200,000.00 a year. You need to be schooled at any level from the governing body of your “sport”. There is also a 2 year program at the National Coaching Institute Calgary. It is the only program of its kind.

There are many professions available for these majors, including sports and wellness instructors, personal trainers, exercise specialists in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, supervisors of specialized health, fitness, wellness, or lifestyle programs in correctional services, police, fire, and emergency response organizations, the list goes on and on.
