Hey everyone,
For the billionth time sorry I havnt blogged in a long time. I’ll admit that I forgot for a little while and when I would remember I would get so busy with everything going on.
So my first year at college is almost over and I can’t believe how fast it’s gone by. It seems just like a few weeks ago that I moved in and here I am about to move out in a month and a half. My official last day of school is May 11th. I will be driving back after my english exam that day.
Well this year has been quite the life changer. I have learned a lot about myself and I feel like I have grown. I have made so many wonderful friends and they have turned into very close friends. I know that all of us can come to each other for anything. AHHHH! LOL okay my friend Bryan just scared me and tickled me when I was typing so I had to add that in. He is one of my new best friends, along with Michael Nollen! Haha. So as I was saying this year I have learned a lot. I found out more about myself as a person and who I want to be in the future and I have learned that its okay to change your dreams when it means you have a new dream thats even better. Thats what I did and psychology is that new dream for me. I am going to create my own major as an Animal Behavior Psychologist. I cant wait for the future when I get to help rehabilitate animals and help people with psychology.
Until then I am going to enjoy my next three years here at Hendrix College with my best friends and wonderful professors who are eager to help all of us achieve our dreams. Now for this up coming summer I dont have many plans, I will mostly be in Dallas hanging out with friends and working so I can save money for school.
However in August I will be coming back to Hendrix early because I am an Orientation Leader for next years incoming freshman! I am so excited and I can’t wait to go on a trip with them and help them have a great experience just like I did. I dont know which trip I will be going on yet I will find that out after all the leaders go a spring retreat together and decide which one to go on.
Okay I think for right now that’s about it. Oh wait! I forgot to tell you! For awhile now I have been guesting on my friend Bryan Vanco’s radio show called Radio Nowhere and I have been talking on the radio here at Hendrix and playing songs that I pick and everything. It has been so much fun. We are now streaming so look us up. I usually am on Fridays from 4 to 6 PM, even though today is sunday and I am guesting on a different show. Its called KHDX 93.1 so listen in guys! Okay so now thats really all for now. I hope those who are in college have enjoyed their first year as I have and those who are seniors and going to college next year, dont worry you will love it and it will be a life changing experience (in a good way).
Peace out guys, I’ll try and remember to blog more often.
