It is so crazy how fast a year of college goes by, actually it’s even crazier how fast two years have gone by. Now that I am nearing the halfway mark of college, I realize how much I’m going to miss school and especially the University of Tampa. I plan on studying abroad spring 2011 so that means I only have 3 semesters left here!
Not cool. Oh well, I am looking forward to graduate school and life after that as well! Now that there are only about 9 days of school left I’m starting to get very busy. So far I haven’t had a nervous breakdown but the year is not done yet. I have exams this week in chem and Spanish, and also finals next week, so I’ll be working hard until the year ends. Luckily it has been a great semester so far so I don’t mind doing the work. I recently returned from a scuba diving trip in boynton beach, Florida. It was put on by my advanced scuba class and was my first ocean dive. It was so cool! We saw all sorts of beautiful tropical fish that I have never seen before. The best part was seeing a seaturtle though, they are sooo cool. I want to rescue them. We went all the way to 95 feet deep which was really crazy, luckily my head didn’t explode, and it was very cool being that deep.
This past weekend was supposed to be our spring concert but unfortunately it was cancelled due to rain, what a bummer. Must get back to Studying now. Next semester is going to be awesome, I’m really getting into my major and taking all comm classes. Communications and law, journalism, studio television, and beginning digital arts. Lots of work but should be awesome!
