This is exactly what the title says. You’ve been warned.
Less than a month away from being able to say I didn’t cut my hair for an entire year. Props to me for learning that little move that gets your hair out of your eyes without using you hands. Props also to my neck for only just now starting to hurt from having to do it so often. It’s also the longest it’s ever been.
I’ve been in Australia for almost an entire month which is pretty cool. New record for longest time ever spent outside of the states while nearly doubling the total amount of time I’ve been outside the states.
I’m getting close to developing some sort of routine with my social life and courses, something I need to function effectively.
So much reading to do for class. So much. I don’t think Australian universities are more difficult or more work, but after having been able to sit at home all summer in the most unproductive state ever, any amount of work seems difficult. I have to relearn how to do school.
I probably need to start looking into scholarship opportunities and job openings. The job would be for when I return in November so probably something seasonal, so once I’m fired after Christmas I can start looking again. Pad that resume so to speak. Also, I’ve got to offset the cost of going abroad somehow.
I’ve realized that time will probably fly so I need to get on top of getting gifts for people when I return. I’ve only got 108 days left, I better get everything done while also making the most of my time here. That’ll probably be easier once the weather lets up (grow up in desert without any rain, leave during the summer for the rainiest Australian winter ever. The contrast could kill a lesser man.)
Guess I’d better get cracking.
