SCAD owns a remarkable 60 buildings in historic Savannah and has saved many of them from demolition. The face of Savannah would look very different if not for SCAD! Lexington is a charming city, and nearby is Paris, KY and Bourbon County, Thoroughbred country. It is beautiful there, and I have family in Paris. My brother went to UK, my cousin went to UK, and when my cousin's husband was in a terrible car accident UK air flighted him to their trauma center and saved his life. Plus the UK Wildcats Basketball program has been a dynamo for years.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent trip to Chicago. One of the perks of being a college consultant is traveling to college campuses and talking with students. DePaul University is a very cool campus! Lincoln Park is a tree lined, red bricked section of Chicago with the L (elevated train, their subway system) clattering about, trendy restaurants, clubs, coffee shops, brownstones and a whole bunch of students running around, even on a Sunday!
