So many interesting things happen once upperclassman arrive back onto campus, a kind of pecking order is re instated, and for those who can’t seem to let go of high school, make snickering comments about freshman as if we were lesser beings.

Being a gay guy in a dorm filled with straight men is not an easy thing to deal with every day. Though I get along fine with them, I’m pretty positive that none of them have caught on that I am indeed a gay guy.

The fresh feeling that I get of waking up and being a cool college kid heading off to grab a bite before I schlep to class is complimented by the delightfully gentle warm breeze that sweeps through the walkway of the Amacrost Library greeting me to the new day.
