So, I’ve been very bad about blogging this year, but part of it is that things have been going a lot better socially. I actually decided to rush a sorority this year and rush is going really well! At Trinity, the sororities are all local so, they don’t have any of those crazy rules that some of the national ones do and the rush process is 4 months long so, you are really able to feel that you belong to a certain one instead of just going on a whim after a week. It’s been SO much fun and I’ve gotten to meet a lot of people that I wouldn’t normally meet inside my music department bubble. Bid day is in February so, I’ll update about all of that then!

I can’t seem to kick this cold. At least I think it’s a cold… My nose is clear but I’ve got postnasal drip which is making my throat sore and my voice has recently desserted me. I don’t have a fever, I don’t feel bodily aches and pains, I do feel sleepy at the most random times, and I haven’t lost my appetite.

Number one, college has ruined my immune system. I was never really prone to getting sick very much. Maybe a cold once a year that lasted a week but other then that I was always pretty healthy. Man I have been really sick three times since I have been at college.

Being sick in college; it really isn’t fun. Of course, I don’t just get the common cold. I’m always sick with my wonderful Crohn’s Disease. Coming to college, I knew I’d at least have one flare up from the stress of moving away from home and the life I had set in stone. Changes cause stress. Stress causes flares. Therefore, change=flares.
