Today I toured a campus in the best way possible, led by my own student, Kirby. There is no substitute for seeing a college or university through a student’s eyes. I can tell you I was extremely impressed, and not just by the charming campus in Historical Charleston!

The University of Richmond absolutely “wow-ed” me. I didn’t expect it to be as beautiful as it is. The campus is in Richmond, but it feels like it is next door to Monticello with rolling hills and a body of water. Ah, and the ducks and geese!

Plus the UK Wildcats Basketball program has been a dynamo for years.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent trip to Chicago. One of the perks of being a college consultant is traveling to college campuses and talking with students. DePaul University is a very cool campus! Lincoln Park is a tree lined, red bricked section of Chicago with the L (elevated train, their subway system) clattering about, trendy restaurants, clubs, coffee shops, brownstones and a whole bunch of students running around, even on a Sunday!
